B. subtilis HU58™
B. subtilis, HU58™ (shortened to HU58™) belongs to the genus Bacillus, and is supported by a significant number of preclinical, clinical and safety studies. It has been shown in trials to have a positive influence on gastrointestinal health.
HU58™ is a spore-forming probiotic strain, meaning it can enter a dormant state. In this dormant state, it is extremely robust and can withstand harsh manufacturing processes, including those used to make gummy supplements.

The HU58™ strain was isolated from a healthy human microbiome at Royal Holloway University as part of Professor Simon Cutting’s research on bacterial spores. As a lactic-acid-producing bacterial strain, it was selected for its superior sporulation efficiency, strong adaptability to the gastrointestinal tract, and long-lasting activity.
Spore-forming bacteria can survive very harsh conditions and processing like HTST pasteurization.
It’s produced in a certified GMP Facility, FSSC22000 certified incl. ISO22000.
The HU58™ logo can be used on packaging subject to agreement. HU58™ is a trademark of Novozymes A/S, part of Novonesis Group.
This product contains microbials. While microbial products are safe to use in consumer applications, they must be handled correctly in production environments to ensure that workers do not inhale organic dust and bioaerosols.

• Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing
• In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection
