Urex™ is the world’s most documented probiotic for women’s urogenital health. The probiotic combination contains the strains L. rhamnosus, GR-1™ and L. reuteri, RC-14™ (shortened to GR-1™ and RC-14™). 

It’s been proven safe and used since 2004 as a probiotic by teenagers and adult women including pregnant, pre- and postmenopausal.

Urex™ consists of two strains. L. rhamnosus GR-1™ (DSM 33426) was isolated from the urethra of a healthy woman in 1980, and the first trial on the strain was published in 1988. The L. reuteri, RC-14™ strain was isolated from the vagina of a healthy woman in 1985. Its first trial was published in 2001. Since then, more than 30 trials of the combination have been published. 

The Urex™ strain combination is acid and bile resistant.

 It is produced in a certified GMP Facility, FSSC22000 certified incl. ISO22000. 

The Urex™ logo can be used on packaging subject to agreement. Urex™ is a trademark of Chr. Hansen A/S, part of Novonesis Group.

This product contains microbials. While microbial products are safe to use in consumer applications, they must be handled correctly in production environments to ensure that workers do not inhale organic dust and bioaerosols.

Please follow the precautionary handling recommendations below:
• Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray
• Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing
• In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection
• IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing
• Store in a dry place. Store in a closed container
• Dispose of contents/containers in accordance with local regulations
